On
October 31, 2007, Aventure-écotourisme
Québec rewarded its meritorious
members during its Annual Congress, at the Mont Gabriel
Hotel in the Laurentides. Founder of Canyoning-Québec
in 2000, Marc
Tremblay was awarded Guide of 2007, in regard to
his contribution in adventure tourism in Québec and
his rigour to implement risk management into a vertical
outdoor activity. He received in June 2007 his Professional
Recognition of the Quebec Tourism Human Resource Council
as Outdoor Guide.
Marc
Tremblay has a diploma from
the École
française de descente de canyon.
His caving expeditions have brought him throughout the continent,
from the vast cave systems lying under Mexico's jungle to
the meltwater chasms of the Greenland icecap. He has been
to hundreds of caves in the US, mostly in the Southeast
and in West Virginia. He also went to classics of France,
Italy and Switzerland. Many of his pictures were published
in various magazines and won international prizes.

Marc
has been going to the Jean-Larose Falls for 26 years, first
as a caver and now as a passionate canyonist. After many
excursions in France's canyons, he decided to develop the
activity in Québec and invite you to share his thrill
in complete safety.
Have
a look to his favourite project in the mexican jungle with
the Quebec Caving Society, in the Sierra
Negra.
A new team is preparing to go in 2009.
